Product Positioning

Designed for deformation correction, reshaping and treatment of bronze, iron and other metal artifacts. Mechanical screw pressure, adjustable jaws and a powered rotating and lifting platform provide stable, controlled support for different object forms.

Product Overview

The workstation applies gradual corrective force through a mechanical screw. A T-slot circular work platform and sliding jaws provide adjustable fixing, support and load positions for metal objects of different shapes and sizes.

Powered platform rotation, powered lifting and position locking allow conservators to adjust object orientation, force direction and working height.

Reshaping Principle

Mechanical Screw Reshaping

Rotating the screw advances it through a threaded drive to apply controlled pressure to a deformed object for localized correction and reshaping.

Linear Motion System

A DC motor provides drive power, while a lead screw and linear guide create stable linear movement.

Artifact Support System

T-Slot Work Platform

Jaws slide within the T slots and can be positioned around the object size and form.

Protective PTFE Pad

A PTFE pad on the circular platform provides cushioning and support for the artifact.

Adjustable Work Platform

Powered rotation, powered lifting and position locking support different treatment angles and working heights.
