Product Positioning
Based on uniform negative pressure, humidity conditioning, illumination and an isolation structure, the workstation provides a platform for cleaning, arranging, drying and treating paper, textiles and flat materials.
Product Name and Functional Overview
For precious archives, paintings and calligraphy and other paper collections, cleaning and treatment are the first steps in preservation. Paper that has wrinkled, stained or become damaged through age and adverse storage conditions must be handled carefully, humidified and flattened, cleaned and treated.
The low-pressure treatment table / vacuum suction table is important equipment in paper conservation. Its cross-flow technology produces overall, uniform vacuum pressure across the working surface. It can provide preliminary drying after treatment, or preliminary humidification before treatment, and provides a work platform for cleaning, treatment, arranging and drying.
The equipment has been designated as a standard cold-suction workbench by national libraries and museums in multiple countries and is widely used worldwide.
Working Principle and System Composition
A quiet-running extractor in an enclosed housing is installed on the table frame below the work surface. Required operations are concentrated at one work position, and the low-noise system minimizes disturbance.
Integrated tables are available in A0 size and larger, for example 1200 × 1500 mm, and can also be produced in additional dimensions and forms to meet customer requirements.
As standard, the integrated suction table is supplied with a 1.5 kW variable-speed, low-noise, quiet and efficient extractor and a handheld controller for varying suction force.
The side-channel unit is installed in the insulated fan enclosure below the tabletop, with an illuminated LCD suction reading positioned on the side of the frame for convenient viewing.

Multifunction Rare-Book Conservation Table Configuration
The multifunction rare-book conservation table provides a negative-pressure, humidity-conditioned, illuminated and isolated working environment for archive treatment, together with dust extraction, cleaning and suction functions.
A sealed transparent isolation cover encloses the internal space. When extraction is switched on, a sealed negative-pressure workspace forms inside the cover for removing dust and mould from archives. When arranging aged, brittle or damaged archives or separating adhered archive blocks, humidification increases paper moisture content and flexibility.
The worktop incorporates transmitted backlighting, providing suitable visual conditions for detailed mending of fragmented paper and alignment of written characters.
5.1 Technical Features
An acrylic cover isolates the operation and provides negative pressure, humidity conditioning and illumination to meet multiple treatment requirements.

Low-Pressure Paper Conservation Table Kit Configuration
The low-pressure paper conservation table kit is suitable for materials including oil paintings and textiles and consists of three parts:
- An extraction platform with a removable humidity-retention dome
- A console with a single motor or dual motors
- A support frame with powered height adjustment and manually controlled tilt angle
The equipment is delivered as a complete, ready-to-use kit. Installation only requires mounting the extraction platform on the support frame and connecting the hose.
6.1 Main Functions
The suction table provides a stable plane for precise infilling, deformation correction, controlled cleaning and wet treatment. It can be used for local leafcasting, stain removal, pressure-sensitive tape removal, parchment-document treatment and wet lining.
