I. Configuration Overview

The Entry Air Shower is an entrance air-shower configuration under the Archive & Collection Dust-Control Systems product page. It is used for air-shower cleaning, purification, disinfection and access management before personnel or materials enter museums, archives and other controlled areas.

Through highly filtered air, directed high-speed air showering, double-door interlocking and automatic spray disinfection, the equipment removes surface particulates from personnel or materials before they enter a controlled area and reduces the risk of cross-contamination between different areas.

The product can use manual doors, automatic doors or a design integrated with existing doors according to on-site door and passage conditions.

II. Key Functions

2.1 Air Shower Cleaning: Multi-angle stainless-steel nozzles direct high-speed air onto personnel or material surfaces to reduce adhering dust and particulates.

2.2 High-Efficiency Air Filtration: Primary and high-efficiency filters clean the recirculated air and keep the air-shower air clean.

2.3 Automatic Spray Disinfection: After air showering, the system automatically enters the spray-disinfection process, with a disinfection time of 5~10 seconds.

2.4 Door Interlock: The equipment uses electronically interlocked doors. Both doors lock automatically during air showering. After air showering, the entrance door remains locked and personnel can enter the clean area only through the exit door.

2.5 Infrared Automatic Control: After a person enters the air-shower area and closes the entrance door, an infrared sensor automatically detects the person and starts the air-shower process.

2.6 One-Way Access Control: Personnel are air-showered and spray-disinfected when entering the clean area from the non-clean area. When leaving the clean area, they pass through without air showering to reduce unnecessary energy consumption.

III. Working Process

Enter from the non-clean area
→ Close the entrance door
→ Infrared sensor detects personnel
→ Both doors lock automatically
→ Automatic air shower
→ Automatic spray disinfection
→ Entrance door remains locked
→ Personnel enter the clean area through the exit door.

When leaving the clean area, personnel pass through the air-shower area without air showering.

IV. Structure & Materials

The external enclosure is made of 1.2mm electrostatically powder-coated cold-rolled steel sheet, and the internal enclosure is made of 304 stainless steel.

304 stainless-steel half-glazed doors are provided.

The entrance can use manually operated sliding double doors; the exit can use a manually operated sliding door or an automatic door.

The doors use an electronic interlock and automatic door closers.

The equipment has 12 multi-angle adjustable 304 stainless-steel nozzles and showers from both left and right sides.
