I. Configuration Overview
The Collection De-Dusting Chamber is a batch collection-object de-dusting configuration under the Archive & Collection Dust-Control Systems product page. It is suitable for air-shower de-dusting, air purification and microbial control of archives, books and collections before storage or during organization.
Through multi-stage filtration, adjustable-speed air showering, high-voltage electrostatic purification, ion purification and air circulation, the system batch-treats dust, particulates and adhering contaminants on the surfaces of archives, books and collection materials.
The equipment includes a stainless-steel archive trolley. The de-dusting area, nozzle distribution, air speed and treatment process can be designed according to archive dimensions, throughput, on-site space and process requirements.
II. Key Functions
2.1 Bulk Collection De-Dusting: Adjustable air speed and multidirectional nozzles batch air-shower archives, books and collection materials on the trolley.
2.2 Pre-Filtration: The pre-filtration system removes larger-diameter dust particles and provides preliminary filtration for subsequent air purification.
2.3 High-Efficiency Filtration: A high-efficiency filtration structure removes airborne smoke, dust, bacteria-bearing particles and other suspended particulates.
2.4 Photocatalytic Purification: C-band ultraviolet light and photocatalyst treat bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms in the passing air and provide air purification and odour control.
2.5 Ion Purification: The ion-purification system generates high-energy ions and hydroxyl radicals to decompose odour molecules and purify the air.
2.6 Electrostatic De-Dusting: A high-voltage electrostatic purification and de-dusting structure further treats airborne particulates.
2.7 Anti-Static Treatment: The purification fan includes an anti-static ion grid whose positive and negative ion airflow neutralizes static electricity on object surfaces.
2.8 Intelligent Control & Data Recording: PLC control allows a user-defined de-dusting time and records the start time, end time and duration of archive treatment.
III. Working Process
Outside air
→ Primary filtration
→ Fan
→ Static-pressure box
→ Medium-efficiency secondary filtration
→ Anti-static ion grid
→ Nozzles air-shower archive materials
→ Dust and particulates are discharged from above the de-dusting chamber.
IV. Structure & Materials
The internal and external enclosures are made of SUS304 brushed stainless steel with a sheet thickness of 1.2mm.
The entrance uses an infrared-sensing automatic sliding door. The door slides to both sides and can be concealed inside the enclosure.
The door vision panel uses 5mm tempered glass.
Centrifugal fans are installed on both sides and at the rear; nozzles on the left, right and rear air-shower the archive materials.
The equipment has no base pan and can be installed directly on the floor.
Archives enter the treatment area on a stainless-steel trolley.
V. Airflow & De-Dusting System
The system uses rotating nozzles, which rotate automatically after the fans start.
Nozzles are arranged according to shelf position and height, with one row of nozzles corresponding to each shelf tier.
A variable-frequency system adjusts air speed, allowing the appropriate air-shower intensity to be selected for different archives and collection materials.
